Is That In The Bible?

Several months ago, I told you about Bible or Not!, a mobile Bible quiz game that is available for iOS and Android operating systems.  It quickly became my favorite of all of the available mobile Bible quiz programs that are available.  (You can read original review here.)  This game gives you a simple quote and it is up to you as the player to determine if the quote is from the Bible or Not!  Sounds simply enough, but it is not.  My family has used this mobile application to provide us with hours of entertainment and study while traveling.

So I was very excited to learn that the authors of this program have just recently released version 2.0 of their online application.  Now you can enjoy the same great questions and game play that you experience on your mobile device right on your desktop.  Version 2.0 of the online Bible game is based on user feedback and allows the user more functionality within the online program.

New game features include giving players the ability to choose between the New International Version (NIV) and the New King James Version (NKJV) of the Bible, to save high score, save favorite quotes, share quotes and high scores, Like on Facebook, login and change profile settings, and submit feedback. The game also has a new, more intuitive, graphical user interface.

I really like the ability to choose the version, but one of my favorite enhancements is the ability to flag quotes as favorites, allowing you to come back to them later or share them with others.

Favorites – Like a quote you see? Simply click the Favorites star and the quote is saved in your Favorites screen. There is no limit to the number of Favorites allowed, and players can share favorite quotes at anytime with anyone via email, Facebook and Twitter.

You also have the ability to compete with others by saving your high score and comparing them against other online players, however, be prepared you might not be as smart as you thought you were.
