Google Celebrates Star Trek

September 8, 2012 — Leave a comment

On September 8, 1966, Star Trek premiered on NBC.  On September 8, 2012, Google celebrated the birthday of this iconic television series with it’s very own Google Doodle.  But this wasn’t just any normal Google Doodle, this one was interactive with it’s own story line to take you to the listings on the Google search page.  In fact this doodle was so involved that Google allowed it to run for multiple days, starting on Friday.

There is still a little time left to check out the doodle and click on the different objects to work your way through the story line.  If you miss the original doodle check out the video below to see all of the interactions and the complete story line.

Do you pay attention to the Google Doodles?
